Burt Reynolds Memoir Due in 2015

Burt Reynolds is telling his life story in memoir But Enough About Me, publisher G.P. Putnam’s Sons announced today.

The book will be co-written with Jon Winkour, who collaborated with James Garner on his New York Times best-selling memoir The Garner Files. Reynolds pal Jon Voight is contributing a foreword. Publication is scheduled for fall 2015.

The book promises to cover both his great movies, his celebrated romances and his friendship with such Hollywood legends as Clark Gable, Bette Davis, Frank Sinatra,Clint Eastwood and Johnny Carson.

Said Reynolds in a statement, “Setting the record straight is something that I have wanted to do for a while now, and with this book I will. This will be a project that will go into many areas I have never discussed.”
